报告内容简介:

Ordinary and partial differential equations (ODE and PDE) based image processing methods have been demonstrated to be a powerful tool for optical interferometry fringe processing. This report firstly will introduce the basic ideal, the main advantages of PDEs-based image processing, and main models. Then will describe the variational method for establishing PDEs models. Lastly will introduce our works on the PDEs(ODEs)-based image processing and analysis and their applications to optical  interferometry fringes, which mainly including:

(1) Anisotropic filtering in optical interferometry fringe patterns. A number of PDE models have been defined so far that are divided into two categories: One is the non oriented PDEs. The second is oriented PDEs; 

(2) The ODE enhancement methods for optical fringes;

(3) The denoising and enhancing model for optical fringes;

(4) The skeletonization of gray scale optical fringe patterns based on PDEs;

(5) The adaptive thresholding method based on PDEs;

(6) PDE-Based random-valued impulse noise removal based on new class of controlling functions

(7) Estimation of fringe orientation for optical fringe Patterns with poor quality.

    This report will highlight the performance and limitations of main filtering models, and give suggestions of the choice of parameters and applicability of various PDE filtering models, and so on.

报告人简介:

唐晨,天津大学电子信息工程学院教授、博士生导师,研究方向:(1)机器学习及在数据、图像中的应用 ;(2)光学图像加密的研究;(3)图像/视频图像处理与模式识别(多尺度图像特征提取、图像处理与恢复、物体检测和识别)。近年来主持国家自然科学基金3项,及多项省部级科研项目。累计发表论文43篇,其中SCI收录36篇,被SCI期刊源引用近260次,主要结果发表在Optics letter, Optics Express, Applied Optics, IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON IMAGE PROCESSING等国际著名光学期刊上共18篇,最高他引次数61次。
