    辽宁石油化工大学软件研究开发中心是一个集研究，开发，销售一体化的高新技术企业。中心拥有一支以教授，副教授，博士，硕士为骨干的研究开发队伍，主要从事办公自动化，数据库，网络与多媒体，数据通讯等技术研究与应用开发以及网络系统集成。近年来，在基础理论研究和应用项目开发方面都取得了优异成绩。此外，中心还承担计算机应用学科的研究生培养教育工作，为各行业输送高水平的计算机研究与开发人才。中心主要由研究开发部，项目事业管理部和市场经营部等部门组成。
